Case Impact Analysis Process

In May 2004, ECGD updated its Case Impact Analysis Process in the light of the OECD publication (PDF 180 KB) entitled "Recommendation on Common Approaches on Environment and Officially Supported Export Credits" and in the light of experience gained in the operation of its case impact analysis process since its inception in October 2003.

In accordance with the above OECD Recommendation, ECGD now expects sponsors of projects with a high potential environmental impact to make environmental impact information (e.g. any environmental impact assessment or summary) publicly available at an appropriate stage in the development of the project and at least 30 calendar days before ECGD issues a final commitment of support.
