This premium rate calculator is provided to enable you to view ECGD's standard rates across a limited range of case parameters. In providing this calculator, ECGD is not agreeing to make any indication, offer or commitment based on the rates produced by this calculator or any other rates.

If you wish ECGD to consider indicating (or, if you are at the stage of preparing a tender, committing to) a premium rate for your case, you should apply to an underwriter. The rates appearing in any indication or commitment issued by ECGD may be higher than those generated by this calculator, particularly for sub-investment grade corporate risk business.

  • Please note that this calculator does not apply to premiums for civil aircraft cases involving asset security and project/structured finance transactions as other variables have to be factored into the premium calculations for those cases.
