ECGD will act in accordance with its obligations at law, and in accordance with government policy, in relation to any information relating to any actual or proposed transaction, which is provided to ECGD by any person in connection with an enquiry regarding the possibility of ECGD providing cover or support for that transaction.

For the purposes of responding to an enquiry, ECGD may disclose any information provided to it in connection with that enquiry to any other government department or to ECGD’s legal, financial or technical advisers.

The terms on which ECGD will hold information provided in, or in connection with, applications are set out in ECGD’s standard application and proposal forms.
