Export Guarantees Advisory Council

Purpose

The Export Guarantees Advisory Council (EGAC) is a statutory body that advises the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry, normally through ECGD, on matters relating to the exercise of his powers under the Export and Investment Guarantees Act 1991 (as amended by the Industry and Exports (Financial Support) Act 2009).
